Foreign Affairs, A Cabaret for the 21st Century
International Lounge – Live Entertainment – Desperate Nostalgia Acts

In the spring of 2008, Isengart created an underground cabaret night in the loft of a downtown art collective, the Red Bull-sponsored Canal Chapter.
He named it Foreign Affairs.

The speakesay cabaret was a huge success.  After the Canal Chapter lost its lease in the summer of 2008, Isengart moved the cabaret to different venues, including Corio Supper Club and the Gershwin Hotel.

In October 2008, The Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) invited Isengart to create a Foreign Affairs-inspired cabaret night.

In 2009, Foreign Affairs was picked up by producer and nightlife maven Lee Chappell and brought to the NIGHT Hotel in Times Square, where it had a successful ten-month run, hosted by Isengart and, following Isengart's invitation, singing comedienne and cabaret star Lady Rizo.

In late 2010, the show popped up at the Griffin Lounge in the Meatpacking district for two highly publicized nights.   Isengart is currently on the look-out for a new hosting venue.
